Jeremy Lin

The Jeremy Lin bananza is at a all time high right now in New York. "Linsanity" has been wild during the last 3 games for the Knicks. Lin has played absolutely incredible in his short run as the starting point guard for the New York Knicks. He has the Knicks believing again when  this season looked like it would be disastrous and might of saved D'antoni's job for now. In his last three games he has played over 36 minutes in all 3 games, putting up 3.5 rebounds, 25.3 points per game, 1.6 steals a game and 8.3 assists a game. He's accumulating stats that an 2 year undrafted free agent from Harvard shouldn't accumulate in the NBA let alone be in the NBA. He has been the spark that the Knicks needed with the lack of a point guard the Knicks have. NOW he has played the Nets, Jazz and the Wizards all teams that are not really good teams and lack defense big time but that doesn't take away from his terrif...

Giants vs 49ers NFC Championship game

New York Giants @ San Francisco 49ers -2.5  The New York Giants take on the San Francisco for the right to be in the Super Bowl. The G-Men havelooked absolutely great this postseason, they dismantled the Falcons and ended the Packers shot at a back to back championship opportunity. Eli Manning has showed the NFL world why he truly is an "ELITE" quarterback and the defense has looked like the defense Giants fans have been waiting to see all year. The 49ers have continued there cinderella story of a season with a instant classic vs the high powered Saints offense. Alex Smith has prove the world wrong especially with his 2 late game comebacks and their defense made big plays by causing numerous turnovers. This game unlike the AFC title game in my eyes will come down to the last minutes of the game. Eli is going against a defense that led the league in turnovers and cause alot vs the Saints last week. If Eli can li...

Ravens vs Patriots AFC Championship

Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots -7.0  This game is the ultimate Potent Offense vs Dominant Defense. You have in one corner the high powered Patriots offense led by their general Tom Brady and in the other corner you have the big bad Baltimore Ravens defense led by Ed Reed and their fearless leader "Sugar" Ray Lewis. The Patriots are coming off a beat down of Tebow and the Broncos. They did everything right that game and look like world beaters. I know you probably thinking it's the Broncos, but that is the same team that defeated the defending AFC champions. Brady was on point and the defense made plays. On the other side the Baltimore Ravens looked ehhhh ok in their win vs the Texans. The offense looked stagnant and the defense didn't apply any pressure on young T.J Yates(0 Sacks) and benefited from his rookie mistakes. I flat out wasn't impressed with Baltimore performance and with Joe Flacco. This game i...

NFL Awards 2011

Here is my take on who takes each reward in the NFL this year. Offensive Rookie of  The Year Cam Newton QB Carolina Panthers  It was a toss up between Cam and Andy Dalton but Cam Newton has possessed some of the craziest numbers we have ever seen from a rookie QB. Completed 60 percent of his passes for over 4,000 yards and 35 total touchdowns ( 14 which were rushing a record for Qbs). Although his team finished 6-10 and Daltons team is in the playoffs Cam came into the NFL with tremendous hype by winning the Heisman and National Championship and he lived up to the hype. Defensive Rookie of The Year Aldon Smith OLB San Francisco 49ers  The rookie out of Missouri  is just a flat out stud. This one was another close race between Aldon and Von Miller but Aldon has been money for San Fran down the stretch wrecking havoc off the edge for the #1 ranked Defense in the NFC. He had a slow start to the year but quickly g...

Giants vs Cowboys SNF Keys to winning the NFC East

New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys Week 17 Keys To Victory.    So it has come down to this.  In the final game of the final week of the 2011 regular season, the NFC East title will be decided in New Jersey in what should be a thriller between the Giants and Cowboys, two of the most hot and cold teams in the league this year.  The last time these two teams met it was the Giants who held off the ‘boys 37-34 in a classic battle in Dallas. This time the stakes are different because this time the winner will be the in the playoffs and the loser will go home to a long off season of scrutiny and hot seat questions.   There are several things each team needs to do in order to win Sunday’s game.  For the Giants, they must build on the momentum of last week’s win against the Jets.  For only the third time this season this defense showed up and became aggressive and they carried this team to victory instead of Eli Manning.   If the G-Men want to...
