Here is my take on who takes each reward in the NFL this year. Offensive Rookie of The Year Cam Newton QB Carolina Panthers It was a toss up between Cam and Andy Dalton but Cam Newton has possessed some of the craziest numbers we have ever seen from a rookie QB. Completed 60 percent of his passes for over 4,000 yards and 35 total touchdowns ( 14 which were rushing a record for Qbs). Although his team finished 6-10 and Daltons team is in the playoffs Cam came into the NFL with tremendous hype by winning the Heisman and National Championship and he lived up to the hype. Defensive Rookie of The Year Aldon Smith OLB San Francisco 49ers The rookie out of Missouri is just a flat out stud. This one was another close race between Aldon and Von Miller but Aldon has been money for San Fran down the stretch wrecking havoc off the edge for the #1 ranked Defense in the NFC. He had a slow start to the year but quickly grasp a hold of the scheme on D. He had 14 sacks this year and 37 tack
