Giants OF Melky Cabrera suspended 50 games without pay after testing positive for testosterone. He was having by far his best year of his career. Hitting well over 300 and winning all star game MVP this is blow to what was a fantastic season for Melky what a shame.

Heisman finalist Tyrann Mathieu was dismissed from the LSU football program last week. He was not kicked out of school although. He violated school drug policy and wasn't his fort offense. He can transfer to a FCS school an play this year instead of the waiting out a year bye transferring to a another D1 school. There are reports he wants to sit out a year and play in 2013 for LSU but he losses his scholarship and has to pay for his tuition to stay at LSU. He has a tough decision ahead of him but he needs some serious growing up to do because his draft stock was already shaky because of his size, so if I'm him I move on from LSU start fresh somewhere else and stay out of trouble. Easier said then done.

Dolphins have cut ties with wide receiver Chad Johnson following his arrest in a domestic violence encounter with his wife. I think this could be the end of the Chad Johnson era in the NFL.
