Carmelo Anthony legacy so far

Carmelo Anthony has been in the NBA since 2003. During that time he has put up some amazing numbers and appeared in 5 all star games BUT he has only gotten out of the first round once. One time has Carmelo gotten out of the first round now i know its not all on him but the likes of Dirk, Derrick Rose, CP3, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard, Wade and LeBron have been out the first round on numerous occasions and they are considered "Superstars' on the NBA and Carmelo in my eyes has all the tools to be a superstar but he isn't in that category yet. Superstars make there team better no matter who's in the starting five or on the bench and Carmelo with all the talent on the Knicks roster (Tyson, Amare, J.R, Novak, Shumpert) he led them to just a 6th seed and yeah i know once Dantoni was let go he started balling up and they played better but it doesn't matter if you don't get it done playoff time.Playoff time is  where "Stars" become "Superstars" and "Superstars" become "Legends". Carmelo Anthony is a one loss away from adding another first round exit to his playoff career and this one will hurt his current legacy as a Knick because of all the expectations that were put on this team once he was acquired from Denver. Knicks fans are starving for not only a championship but at the least a deep playoff run, it hurts that the Knicks have the longest losing steak in playoff history at 13 in a row. Carmelo Anthony might have his make or break season next year if he can't produce a division championship especially with a old Celtics team and a inconstant 76ers team or a deep playoff run his time with the Knicks may end but i have the utmost confidence that with a training camp with Lin JR/Novak(Free agents) Shump, Tyson and Amare and Mike Woodson or dare i say Phil Jackson as the coach that Carmelo will get to those accomplishment like those other Superstars but unless he pulls a miracle vs the Heat this year has hurt his legacy but he has time to changed I.E Dirk Nowitki.
