My Ultimate Starting 5 in the NBA(Current Players)
My Starting 5
PG- Chris Paul- This guy has just a great feel for finding his teammates no matter where they are on the court. He flats out makes his teammates better and can play some defense and score the rock. He beats out D-Rose and Deron Williams cause i think he can pass the rock better then them and won't mind giving it up to the guys i picked in my starting 5.
SG- Kobe Bryant- This was tough between the Black Mamba and Dwayne Wade but i still have to go with KOBE. He's a lost a step but you cant deny this guys will to be great and his jumper is still better then any one's in the league now.
SF- LeBron James- This guy is a specimen that we have never seen before in a perimeter player. He can play defense and go to whole better then any one EVER BUT..... he cant close games out but with my team i wont need him to do that because i have Kobe Bryant. AS some of you may know I'm not a LBJ fan but he's on my starting five right ahead of Melo.
PF- Dirk Nowitzki- A 7 footer who can shoot from any where on the court how can't i have him in my starting 5. He showed this year that he's a ELITE player and can will a team to a title even against the vaunted Miami Heat this dude is money and clutch.
C- Dwight Howard- HE kind of gets the nod by default since there aren't many dominate big men on the NBA now. He can block shots and rebound with any big man to come in the league. His low post game needs work but in my starting 5 he just needs to D up and Kobe and Dirk will do the scoring.
6th Man- Dwayne Wade- Have him sub for Paul or Kobe and won't miss a beat offensively or defensively.
