Tom Brady vs Aaron Rodgers Who's the better Quarterback
The debate since 05 has been who's the best QB in the NFL Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, now with Peyton Manning on the shelf with a serious neck injury he has past the torch to Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers. Now the debate at Quarterback is Rodgers or Brady and i am going to breakdown the two MVP candidates.
Up first Tom Brady
For many of you you may know that i have a man crush on Tom Terrific and why not, he's a 3 time super bowl champion, 2 time super bowl MVP, 2 time regular season MVP and has the highest winning percentage in NFL history for a quarterback. His start to this season was in one word "EPIC" he just made it look absolutely easy in the pocket. He has cooled down but late but he still has performed at a high level. His accuracy is second to none he just puts the ball in places where the defender has himself scratching his head wondering how did he put the ball there i was all over the receiver. Brady has establish himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks ever and the crazy thing about that is that he's never had a dominant wideout other then Randy Moss for 3 years then most Hall of Fame quarterbacks which to me has made his greatness even more shocking that he's done it with middle of the pack wideouts and tightends.
Brady's stats thus far in 2011
Passer Rating: 109.5
Completion Percentage: 67.9
Touchdowns:14 Interceptions:6
Yards Thrown:1,874
Record: 4-1
Now Arron Rodgers
This Aaron Rodgers guys is pretty good i think lol. This guy to me is the most complete quarterback in the NFL, their isn't a quarterback in the league who can throw on the run like Rodgers can he's just flawless when it comes to throwing on the run. It also helps that his receiver core is the best in the NFL and maybe one of the best in history i mean come on he has Driver, Nelson, Jones, Jennings, Crabtree and Finley to throw the rock to so that helps him dramatically. His accuracy is deadly as he has a league leading 71.7 completion rating this year. He has been threw a lot in his career starting off as Brett Favre backup for three seasons but that might of been a blessing in disguise as he got to learn from Hall of Fame quarterback. I've always loved his game ever since his days at Cal and thought he should've been the number 1 pick on 2005 but wound up being a late 1st round pick by the Packers and boy do they love that he drooped to them. He just keeps on getting better and with the talent around him i see him winning numerous MVP's and Super Bowls, the skies the limit for Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers stats thus far in 2011
Passer Rating: 122.9
Completion Percentage: 71.7
Touchdowns: 14 interceptions: 2
Yards Thrown: 1,721
Now let me know who you feel is the best quarterback in the NFL.Thank you all
