My week 5 NFL predictions
My week 5 predictions in the NFL
1) New Orleans Saints @ Carolina Panther 1:00pm
The Panthers have played tough this year especially with that Cam Newton guy at center, the guy has star written all over him but the lack of a running game has hurt this team and going against Drew Brees and the vaunted offense you need to control the clock and make sure they stay on the sidelines but that wont happen i see it started off close but Saints just tear up that banged up Panthers defense and win 34-17.
2) Kansas City Chiefs @ Indianapolis Colts 1:00pm
OOOO man are there 2 teams that are playing any worse then the chiefs and the colts? Teams come into this game a whopping 1 and 7 that's just horrible. The lost of the sheriff Peyton Manning has made the Colts look pathetic on offense which shouldn't be the case especially the talent on that end but if the Colts have a strength is that pass rush with Mathis and freeney and the chiefs offense has also looked putrid and cant block Cassell and that doesn't bold well for KC. I think the colts with Curtis Painter will make enough plays on offense against a depleted secondary. I see Colts getting there 1st win of the year 17-10 look for Clark to have a big on offense.
3) Philadelphia Eagles @ Buffalo Bills 1:00pm
So the "DREAM TEAM" is off to a horrid 1-3 start, the reasons why there struggling is the offensive line can't create a big push up the middle in order to ground and pound, another reason is there defense has looked lackluster at best. The line backing core is playing below average and cant make plays and the safety play is abysmal, they have just played horrible which i love (giants fan) lol but they do have Vick, McCoy, Macclin and Desean Jackson and the Bills have struggle in the secondary even though they do have some ball hawks back there in Mcgee, McKelvin and Bryd but the Bills lack of pass rush which is ranked dead last in sacks with 4 (where are you merriman) will haunt the bills. The bills offense will need to run that man Fred Jackson to be successful on that side i see eagles blanketing Stevie Johnson. In my eyes the eagles will win this game with Vick putting up big numbers and the Eagles winning on the road 31-20.
4) Seattle Seahawks @ New York Giants 1:00pm
There might not be a bigger mismatch this week then the hawks vs the giants. The giants are coming off a big win vs the Cardinals even with some controviserey and the Seahawks are coming off a close loss to the Falcons. The Seahawks have some weapons on offense with Rice and Mike Williams but the Giants defense is hitting on all cylinders and are getting healthier. The giants defense will probably be without there captain Justin Tuck but with osi back and the emergence of Tollefson and the back 7 the Gmen defense will have there way against a mediocre Seahawks offensive line. The giants offense has improve week in week out and Eli has not turned the ball over much these couple weeks. A heavy dose of the run game and some timely throws by Eli and the gmens offense should have success vs a average Seahawks defense i see the Giants winning big 31-10.
5) Tennesee Titans @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00 pm
This is a game i love to see, two hard hitting teams who preach ground and pound and DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE. The Steelers defense has struggled though this year especially the against the run where they have been ritually great against. The loss of James Harrison will have huge effect againts the Titans who will look to run CJ2k aka Chris Johnson that way and take a bite off what the Texans did last week with Arian Foster and Ben Tate rushing for 175 plus yards. The Steelers offense is in shambles and the injuries are piling up for the defending AFC champs. The offensive line is just plain horrible and the run game has suffered greatly. The Steelers will be without top rusher Rashard Mendenhall and there star QB Ben Roethlisberger foot is badly sprained which doesn't which doesn't go well especially against this tough physical titans defense. The Titans defense doesn't have many big names but they are as good as any defense in the NFL. Steelers are banged up and the titans are hot i don't like the Steelers chance i see a heavy dose of CJ2k and Hassleback making some plays Titans win 24-13.
6) Oakland Raiders @ Houston Texans 1:00pm
This game will be ground and pound to the max. The raiders have the duo of Michael Bush and Darren McFadden and they will have a big day vs the Texans defense even though the Texans defense has improved greatly. I see the same the other way with Houston's tandem of Arian Foster and Ben Tate. Foster is healthy and as you saw last week he isn't a one year wonder like many thought he be and Ben Tate is a good change of pace back for the Texans. I feel that the loss of Andre Johnson will be HUGE for the Texans as he provides so much single coverage for Jones, Walter and Daniels without him that wont happen as much. I think Jason Campbell will make some big plays vertically with Jocoby Ford and Denerious Moore and i see Kevin Boss having a big game. I have the Raiders winning 17-14 in a close game.
7) Cincinatti Bengals @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 pm
Not much to say about this game lmao. The Bengals are bad and the Jaguars are even worse i see the Bengals having there way with the jags and winning tghis matchup 17-10. Two young quaterbacks, you'll see a lot of mistakes made by both QB's should be a ugly game.
8) Arizona Cardinals @Minnesota Vikings
The Cardinals are coming off a tough loss to the Giants they seemed to have the game controlled untill a very questionable call was made the refs on the Victor Cruz non fumble call which led to a go ahead touchdown for the Giants. They have seem to find the running game they never had with Chris "Beanie" Wells but that will come to end with the Vikings having a very stingy run defense which is lead by Jared Allen and Kevin Williams. The Vikings have just blew so many games this year its just bound that it cant happen again. They need to feed All Day Adrian Peterson the ball especially against a finesse Cardinals defense which isn't strong vs the run. I see AP having a huge game and finally giving Donovan his 1st as a Viking 24-17.
9) Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ San Fransisco 49ers 4:05pm
Josh Freeman is the truth, this guy just has that clutch gene that you want in a quarterback with all the physical tools to go along with it. He has struggled a bit but the finally got the run game going going albeit against the Colts so i see the play action game working well vs the 49ers. Mike Williams finally came out of his slump a bit last week but he is due for a big game sooner or later. The 49ers run finally came to life vs the Eagles. Frank Gore finally came to life and had a huge game and i see him having a very productive game vs the Bucs young front four. Alex Smith has played better then expected and with a healthy Crabtree this week look for the vertical game to open up a bit more this week especially with the Bucs occupying on Vernon Davis alot this week. I see this game beeing a grind it out game and a close game with the 9ers winning a close won 23-20.
10) New York Jets @ New England Patriots 4:15 pm
The last time the Jets face the Patriots at Foxborough they were prancing all over the field after they upset the 14-2 Patriots 28-21 after getting crushed in there Monday Night tilt that season. This is a brewing rivalry that gets better by the game.The Jets have looked pretty bad of late and whats shocking is that the run defense has been abysmal which is shocking for a Rex Ryan led defense.The run game of the Jets o wait they have a run game? Its been non existent this year and Sanchez has been up and down this year and hasn't take that next level in order to get the Jets over that hump. The Patriots are licking there chops especially after that heartbreaking loss to the Jets in the playoffs. Tom Brady has been on fire this year setting records, just making it look so easy in the pocket. WELKER WELKER WELKER this leads the league in receptions and yards and two of Brady's other favorite targets are 2nd year tight ends Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski especially Gronkowski which as been his 2nd favorite target behing Welker. I see the Jets making some plays especially vs this last ranked Patriots defense but Brady and Bellicheck have that playoffs game on there minds and there looking to destroy the Jets pride and hopes. The Jets defense is struggling and not a good time to be struggling especially against this Pats offense. I see the Patriots winning 31-17 close early but Pats take control late with a dose of Ben Jarvis Green-Ellis.
11) San Diego Chargers @ Denver Broncos 4:15pm

12) Green Bay Packers @ Atlanta Falcons 8:20 pm
AARON RODGERS AARON RODGERS AARON RODGERS this guy is decent i think lmao, this guy just makes Packers fan forget who that number 4 guy was previous. Rodgers is just a rare quarterback that is taking the NFL by storm i mean what can't this guy do and the weapons he has MERCY. The Falcons got owned last year in the Playoffs by this red hot Pack sqaud and i dont see them having a punchers chance this time around. The Packer's offense is just to good especially against a Falcons defnese that is in the bottom 5 in sacks and yes if you don't pressure Rodgers you have NO CHANCE. In order for the Falcons to win they must get pressure with John Abraham and Ray Edwards who talks alot for a guy who hasn't really done much in the NFL. They must also get Roddy White involved more even though he is banged up he is the home run threat on this team and when hes rolling there a potent offense. I see turner getting his yards but Green Bay will just outscore the heck out of this team. My outcome Packers 41-28.
